Poker Shoot: Deaf Ranger Picks his hand by
shooting his choice of cards (it was 2 pair but
not the winner)

Deaf Ranger is First in line (not the best
advantage) for shooting the stage

Various stages presented the cowboys with
unique and fun challenges

Safety is a big concern at SASS events. Here
the shooter's guns are checked and cleared at the
end of his shooting the stage

Of course being nervous Deaf Ranger forgot to
take the mechanical safe off on his .45

The Posse is gathered to hear the RO explain
the course of fire for all Cowboys and Cowgirls.
Deaf Ranger counts the number of targets and
Dirty Dale listens on

Deaf Ranger caught looking intimidating as the
others in the Posse finish setting up the stage
for the next shooter.  Posse members help with
picking up brass and shotgun shells from
shooters while others have different tasks.
All help out

This interesting stage has the shootist firing as
rapidly as possible at a big bell (still easy to
miss) then using his rifle he shoots the Red ends
of the Texas star. The star turns and as each red
end drops off the star turns at a different speed
or direction

This shot shows the setup of the stage before
shooting.  The rope is pulled as the shooter
holsters his single action revolver.

Here the shooter shoots under the saloon doors at
five waiting bandits inside the bar

After sipping his whiskey, dangerous Buck
Johnson fires rapidly at his targets

Following him is Stagecoach Cleve defeating
those dastardly cowboys that dare challenge him

Sipping her whiskey (water) Windfall Heart
keeps a close eye on five hombres reaching for
their guns

Stagecoach Cleve and his lovely wife Gold
Nugget Nan

Dangerous Duo, Buck Johnson and his nice wife,
Windfall Heart

Feasting  on barbeque Ribs and chicken adds a
pleasant ending to a great day of posses chasing
and defeating lots of outlaws. But unless I am
wrong we will all have to do more cleaning up
next year on more outlaws who just never seem
to learn their lessons
